Grant applications are reviewed semi-annually in the spring and fall. If an application deadline falls on a weekend, then the applications are due by 5 p.m. ET on the Friday immediately preceding the deadline.

Preliminary application deadline: March 15; September 15

The Trustees and their Advisors will review the preliminary applications and decide which applicants will be invited to submit final applications. Each applicant will typically be informed of the Trustees’ decision by mid-March for the spring round and early-October for the fall round. A portion of the preliminary round applicants will be invited to the final round.

Final application deadline (by invitation only): Early April; Late October (specific dates provided in the invite)

Those applicants who are invited to submit a final application must complete an online application and deliver paper copies of their application materials to Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP. The online and hard copy submissions must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the corresponding date provided above (subject to change as provided in the final round invite).
